With a wide range of fun and educational kids activities in New Orleans, Southeast Louisiana is a great place to call home. The region has an abundance of nature-based activities in parks, zoos and museums. Residents enjoy visiting the Audubon Institute, which maintain learning facilities and parks throughout New Orleans. On the Northshore and beyond, families find many state parks and refuges, including an African-themed safari in Hammond.
