Located in St. Tammany Parish, Mandeville High School is an 8th-through-12th-grade public school with an A rating from the Louisiana Department of Education for 2014-15. Mandeville High students explore subjects ranging from mythology and forensic science to engineering and television production.

Students benefit from comprehensive, college-preparatory instruction in academic fundamentals as well as elective courses in music theory, Latin, vocal ensemble, wind ensemble and filmmaking. The Mandeville High curriculum includes honors, gifted and extensive Advanced Placement programs. The school’s vocational track includes ProStart classes for students interested in working in culinary arts after graduation.

Mandeville High School students can also explore and train to be emergency responders, nursing assistants, carpenters and pharmacy technicians. Dual-enrollment courses offered through a partnership with Louisiana Tech University and Southeastern University offer students the chance to earn college credit hours as well.

In addition to a strong academic foundation, Mandeville High is also home to a number of athletic and extracurricular organizations. The division 5A school wins state and regional accolades in activities ranging from soccer to jazz ensemble. Clubs and activities span show choir, Japanese animation, art, science and robotics. Competitive sports teams include swimming, basketball, wrestling, cross country, power lifting, football and a boys’ soccer team, which recently won the 2013 Regional Championship.
