View All Sports

New Orleans Pelicans games are a great experience for all ages. Sports lovers young and old will appreciate the skills of some of the most talented, young NBA players, and with home games held on weeknights and weekends, there are plenty of opportunities to watch the Pelicans compete. The Smoothie King Center in downtown New Orleans represents the site of the Pelicans’ 41 home games each season.

Pelican Fest kicks off pre-game activities with live music and food outside the Smoothie King Center. Inside, game-time entertainment rarely slows down. Breaks in the game feature the Pelicans Dance Team, music, halftime entertainment and mascot Pierre the Pelican roaming the sidelines and stands interacting with the lively crowd. Special theme nights like Carnival Night, Pierre’s Birthday Party and the home game FANtastic FANale add increased excitement.

Off the court, Pelicans players and coaches actively support the community with activities, such as reading rallies, incentive programs to encourage students to attend school and achieve high grades, NBA Cares initiatives, junior training camps and more. The New Orleans Pelicans epitomize the spirit of the city and the spirit of giving back.

New Orleans intermittently plays host to the NBA All-Star Game, which allows fans to participate in activities and events that run throughout the week preceding the event.
